1. The 2012 Towey Gathering will take place at Rochester, MN beginning Friday August 10, 2012 through Sunday August 12, 2012.
The annual Irish Fair at Harriet Island, St Paul is held the same weekend, August 10, 11 and 12, 2012 in St Paul.

2. The Towey Clan is an officially recognized clan of Ireland. In 2001 there was an inaugural gathering in Lucan, Co. Dublin and in 2004, 2007 and 2010 gatherings took place in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon. More details are at About Us.

3. Ballaghaderreen and Nearby Townlands in Co. Mayo, Co. Roscommon and Co. Sligo is where most of us with the TOWEY surname had our family roots in Ireland according to the Ireland National Census. See our 1901 Census Map and 1911 Census Map.

Cost is $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 years         and under.  Children's menu and activities are planned for the evening         festivities. 7. Raffle Activity
A raffle will be conducted during Saturday’s social evening about 10:00 pm.  Raffle tickets will be sold throughout Saturday evening
Each family attending the Saturday Social is asked to bring an item for the raffle. We suggest something typical of your part of the world. Remember, many Towey's are traveling by airplane
